Wood: The door frame is of Douglas Fir, the panel field is bigleaf maple, with various marquetry woods.

Finish: OSMO Polyx Oil, rubbed out with mineral oil.

Dimensions: Each door is 3'6" x 7', so the entire assembly is 7' x 7'. The doors slide on a concealed, overhead track.

Client Feedback: "I hired Matt to do a set of 2 custom sliding panels for my home in 2009. The results are incredible. The beauty of the wood grains and their depth of colors are amazing, let alone how he managed to blend the marquetry so perfectly. For instance, the panels depict some swallows swooping, and he found a wood whose grain looks like tiny bird feathers. Other wood pieces are carefully blended together to form gracefully gnarly tree branches. Everyone who sees the panels is equally amazed. Matt was a pleasure to work with, very collaborative on the high level design concept, and then blew me away with the final product. I'd hire him again in a heart beat."
