Open Studios Encore WeekendSanta Cruz, California
The first weekend was a huge success, with close to 500 people visiting the shop. Encore weekend is this Saturday & Sunday (Oct 17 & 18), and I will be open from 11am to 6pm both days.
During the first weekend, some of the smaller items proved to be quite popular, and I've been busy this week making more of the letter holders, which all but sold out.
Letter Holders
I originally designed these as napkin holders for the dining table, but Michele and I both ended up keeping one on our desks. They provide a great place to organize mail and other paperwork, with the added benefit of displaying a beautiful piece of marquetry where you can enjoy it regularly.
I am also excited to introduce custom paper towel holders, and T.P. holders. These are both very functional designs that have been thoroughly field tested in my own home, and made from beautiful pieces of precious woods that I have saved as leftovers from other projects.
